Following his father's footsteps,
Jacques McCutcheon started working in the granite industry in 1968
and has been in business ever since.

In 1988, Granit J. McCutcheon was founded
in view of becoming a family business.

Jacques sons, Eric and Rock, joined the company
respectively in 1996 and in 1998.
Eric is chief of production and stone cutter.
Rock works in the sandblast department
and is specialized in sandblast engraving.

Granit J. McCutcheon is a modern plant,
which specialises in personalized work,
and is equiped with the latest technologies,
such as a computerized saw, automatic polishers,
computerized design system
for the sandblast department,
computerised laser etching.

Besides monuments, the enterprise also produces
stones for construction and landscaping.

The workforce went from 3 employees in 1988,
to 13 in 1995 and 18 in 2004.

The enterprise has many customers in Quebec,
across Canada and in the United States.

With more than three generations of experience
in the granit transformation industry,
an attentive ear to its customers
and the desire to improve the business,
Granit J. McCutcheon is looking forward to a bright future
in this very competitive international market.
